so here are a few moments that i want to remember...

i met up with one of my lifelong friends, Stephanie!! we have known each since the days when we had fluffy bangs, matching sweatsuits, and scrunchee socks (in all colors)! Now we are big girls with little girls and boys of our own :) we had so much fun catching up and letting our kids play in the pool!

i know this is super un-flattering of me... but look at that little beauty next to me!! oh i cannot resist this one!! she melts me whenever i see and hold her... nothing better than a sunday afternoon nap with my baby :)

what a pair!! they are both sooooo cute!

okay.. so i have always held a special place in my heart for this frozen treat! i can remember eating them as a child in the summer :) and summers have come and gone and we have eaten a few here and there... but this summer the otter pop consumption got a little out of control! this box here would be our 8th box of the summer... meaning we have downed 800 otter pops in 1 summer!!! i think that special place in my heart has vanished!

can i tell you that the other day I was talking about otter pops with my girlfriends and none of them knew what i was talking about? i had to explain what they were and they finally got it, but they called them something else. Then i asked jared and he didn't know what i was talking about either! I guess they aren't called otter pops in the midwest....so weird! i guess when you live in a place where it's below freezing almost 6 months out of the year you don't appreciate awesome frozen treats as much. lol. anyways, i love them too! :)

Wow, 800 otter pops... does that divide into 200 each for your family members? Oh well, they're probably 95% water so you're all very hydrated! I love watching your girls sleep... they're so peaceful and beautiful... love it! What a classic picture of you and Stephanie and the kids... Oh my gosh, you guys have known each other since preschool... you used to make tents in the living room and bring every toy and stuffed animal out into the tent to "have lunch"... you loved painting, dressing up, watching fun videos, eating fun lunches under the tree in the backyard... and now look at you two... Sherri and I are lucky grandmas! Fun picture! love, Mom

800 otter pops?!?! That is freakin' awesome!!! That is definitely one for the record books :) Loved the sleeping pictures, too precious. How fun to meet up with a good friend too :) We miss you guys so much!
PS We bought otter pops at the beginning of the summer, still have some in the freezer, how pathetic.
